Kurdish groups in the South East of Turkey were prolific weavers producıng a fasanating range rugs and kilims as well as textiles needed in their daily nomadic life. These include storage sacks, kilims (both decorative and functional ), bedding bags, babies cradles, etc
This particular weaving was used to adorn the bed of special guests.
